Philip A. Glotzbach, Ph.D. (born 7 July 1950), is an American educator, who is currently the president of Skidmore College. Glotzbach graduated summa cum laude in 1972 with a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and went on to earn a Ph.D. from Yale University in 1979.[1] He became Skidmore's seventh president in 2003[2] and has since remained in that role. Some of his biggest initiatives include the implementation of the College's Strategic Plan entitled "Engaged Liberal Learning: The Plan for Skidmore College 2005-2015", a revised campus master plan, and a capital campaign that has raised more than $200 million.
