Philip J. Miller, MD, PC, FACS, is a plastic surgeon at North Shore-LIJ Health System[2] and NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City.[3] He currently practices at Gotham Plastic Surgery in New York City and specializes in facial plastic surgery with a focus on rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation procedures.[1]

Education

Miller obtained his Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University in 1985. He continued his studies at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he graduated in 1989. Then, he became an intern at the University of California Hospital to start a career in cosmetic surgery.

Career

Miller lectured on facial plastic surgery, authored and presented academic papers at regional and national meetings, published in peer-reviewed facial plastic surgery journals and chapters in textbooks. Since 1997, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology, New York University Medical Center.[4]

He has been certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.[5] He is a member of several medical societies including the Rhinoplasty Society,[6] American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (former member of the Board of Directors),[7] and the American College of Surgeons.[5]
