The Philippines has participated at the Universiade. The Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines is officially recognized as the sole representative of Philippine athletes by the International Federation of Schools and Universities (FISU) at the games since 2009.[1] [2] The Philippines won its first gold medal at the 2013 Summer Universiade
From 1967 to 2007, the University Athletic Association of the Philippines has been sending athletes to the Universiade under the directive of the Philippine Olympic Committee.[3]
