The blue-fronted redstart (Phoenicurus frontalis) is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae, the Old World flycatchers. Its range includes the northern regions of the Indian Subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia. It is found in Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is temperate forests. The female is brownish-grey, with paler underparts.
