Phoenix Eclipse
The Phoenix Eclipse was an American Basketball Association (ABA) team based in Phoenix, Arizona. The team began play in the fall of 2001 and played in the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. However, it has since folded and is defunct.
The team nickname was a play on the name of the NBA's Phoenix Suns, which played at the Coliseum for decades before moving to the America West Arena (now Talking Stick Resort Arena) in 1991.
