Phuyuq (Quechua phuyu cloud, -q a suffix,[2] "the cloudy one", hispanicized spelling Puyoc), also known as Kuyuq (kuyuy to move,[2] "the one that moves", hispanicized spelling Cuyoc), is a mountain in the south of the Waywash mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,550 metres (18,209 ft) high. It is located in the Lima Region, Cajatambo Province, Cajatambo District.[3] Phuyuq lies north of Pumarinri.
