Phyllonorycter melacoronis is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is known from Japan (Kyushu), the Russian Far East and Korea.

The wingspan is 5-5.5 mm.

The larvae feed on Rhododendron species, including Rhododendron dauricum and Rhododendron mucronulatum. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of an elliptical blotch-mine, located on the underside of the leaf, arbitrarily on a space between the mid-vein and the leaf margin.
