Pierre Bürcher (born on December 20, 1945 in Fiesch, Switzerland) is a Swiss prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, he was bishop of Diocese of Reykjavík, Iceland.
On October 30, 2007, Pierre Bürcher, until then Titular bishop of Maximiana in Byzacena and Auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Lausanne, Genève and Fribourg, Switzerland, was appointed Bishop of Reykjavík by Pope Benedict XVI.[1]
He resigned September 18, 2015 and Pope Francis appointed new bishop David Tencer OFM Cap.
