Pierre Duval Le Camus
Pierre Duval Le Camus, a French genre and portrait painter, was born at Lisieux in 1790. He studied under David, and became painter-in-ordinary to the Duchess of Berry. He died at St. Cloud in 1854. Amongst his works are:

- The Brothers of the Christian Doctrine. 1822.
- Interior of a Kitchen. 1824.
- Ennui. 1827.
- Labourer's Family returning from school. 1827.
- Halt of Huntsmen. 1837.
- Wolf-Hunting. 1838.
- The Blessing of Orphans. (Louvre.)
- The First Gatherings of Harvest. (Louvre.)
- Pifferaro teaching his Son. (Louvre.)
- An Interior. (Bordeaux Museum.)
