PineApp is a privately held IT security company that provides email security, email archiving and web filtering (content control software) for organizations and enterprises. The products are provided as appliances or software, as well as software as a service and cloud service platforms. The company’s mail relay security includes protection from malware including viruses, Trojans, and spyware, along with anti-spam and anti-phishing.

In 2015, under new leadership, PineApp announced the newest release of its flagship Mail Secure mail relay. The new Mail Secure version 5.1, builds on PineApp’s trademark email security solution and delivers several key new enhancements aimed at improving the end user and administrator experience. Mail SeCure 5.1 also seamlessly incorporates PineApp’s newest solution offerings as easy to deploy modules within Mail Secure including Email Encryption, Email Archiving, Large File Transfer and Email Branding.

PineApp was founded in 2002, and is headquartered in Israel, with distributors in over 40 countries worldwide.

In 2011 PineApp released the Outbound Spam Guard (OSG). The PineApp OSG is a transparent SMTP proxy that effectively neutralizes outbound spam from botnets.
