The pink maomao, Caprodon longimanus, is a sea bass of the subfamily Anthiinae in the family Serranidae. It is found in the eastern Indian Ocean and southern Pacific Ocean, including the seas around Australia and New Zealand, at depths of up to 220 m. Its length is up to 50 cm.
