Piorunka [pʲɔˈruŋka] (Ukrainian: Перунка, Perunka) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krynica-Zdrój, within Nowy Sącz County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of Krynica-Zdrój, 27 km (17 mi) south-east of Nowy Sącz, and 100 km (62 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.
