Pipedrive is a cloud-based sales software company based in Tallinn, Estonia and New York City, New York. It is the maker of the web application and mobile app Pipedrive, a sales customer relationship management (CRM) tool for small and medium-sized businesses.

The company has 160 employees, and its CRM is used by 30,000 customers around the world.[1]

History

Pipedrive was founded on June 21, 2010 [2] by Timo Rein, Urmas Purde, Ragnar Sass, Martin Tajur and Martin Henk. In 2015, Steve Oriola became the company’s chief executive officer (CEO),[3] replacing Timo Rein, who now serves as president of Pipedrive.

In 2011, Pipedrive joined AngelPad.[4] It was the only European startup of the 15 teams the accelerator hosted.[5]

As of 2016, Pipedrive has raised a total of $14.2 million in seed funding from Bessemer Venture Partners, Paua Ventures, Rembrandt Venture Partners and others [6][7]
