Pirates: Adventures in Art is a Canadian animated children's television show produced by DHX Media. The Creative Producer and Executive Story Editor for the show is Jed MacKay, and it is produced by Katrina Walsh. The series is directed by William Gordon. Its theme song is sung by Canadian band Great Big Sea. The series runs on CBC Television in Canada. On April 2, 2012, the series premiered on Discovery Kids in Latin America; the title in Spanish is Los piratas y sus adventuras coloridas.
