Piton Island

Piton Island (66°47′S 141°36′E / 66.783°S 141.600°E / -66.783; 141.600Coordinates: 66°47′S 141°36′E / 66.783°S 141.600°E / -66.783; 141.600) is a small rocky island lying 0.1 nautical miles (0.2 km) southwest of Guano Island in the Curzon Islands. Charted in 1951 by the French Antarctic Expedition and so named by them for its very pointed shape.
