PixelMags is a digital distribution company that delivers digital versions of magazines and catalogs to iOS devices. Android support is not available at the moment. The company's FAQ states that it is being worked on but the last update was in Nov 2013.[1]

Founded in 2009, PixelMags offers magazines and catalogs both the ability to have a publication delivered as a static PDF or, publishers can add multimedia content in a publication through interactive widget options.

PixelMags has offices in Los Angeles and London. PixelMags is a privately held company founded by Ryan Marquis and Mark Stubbs.[2]

Description

PixelMags Inc. is a Content Distributor for digital platforms and an authorized developer for the Apple iPhone, iPad, Android and Kindle fire. They help publishers distribute their branded content into key digital newsstands, which allow consumers to read magazines and utilize digital catalogs on multiple devices. It currently has contracts with many leading publishers around the world, including but not limited to Hearst UK, IPC, Imagine Publishing, Dennis Publishing, Factory Media, Pottery Barn and Haymarket. In 2013 PixelMags Inc. launched Readr an iPad app designed to give access to a wide variety of digital magazines for a single monthly price. Readr currently has over 10,000 magazines available across international stores. In 2014 PixelMags Inc. took ownership of RococoCreative.com a design agency dedicated to producing interactive digital magazines as a bespoke service. Working with top consumer brands and corporate clients RococoCreative have worked with some of publishing’s top brands. In May 2014 PixelMags Inc. launched a revolutionary new facility called Distribution-as-a-Service. This allowed publishers a single PDF upload to be distributed to multiple digital newsstands. This low cost simplified workflow has made multi channel publishing accessible to all sizes of publishers.
