Plastic Wax is an animation and visual effects studio specializing in content for video games, film and television.
Based in Sydney, Australia and established in 1997; Plastic Wax has produced a wide range of award winning animation content. Some notable works include The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Tomb Raider, Civilization V: Brave New World and Fallout: New Vegas.
The company boasts a state of the art 24 camera Vicon MX40 in house motion capture system, a cutting edge IBM idataplex dedicated render farm and over 60 veteran team members.
In 2015, Channel Nine News aired a behind the scenes snapshot at the facility, and its recent international success.[1]
