Poljubinj (pronounced [pɔljuˈbiːn]; Italian: Polubino[2]) is a settlement east of Tolmin in the Littoral region of Slovenia.[3]
Poljubinj is known for egg decoration at the local šempav holiday, celebrated on the first Sunday in May. Eggs are colored red and verses and motives are written and painted on them.[4]
