Cupido myrrha, is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. Originally named Lycaena myrrha by Herrich-Schäffer in 1851 in the six volume 'Systematische Bearbeitung der Schmetterlinge von Europa' (Systematic research on the butterflies of Europe).[1][2] This rare species has been found in Anatolia area of Turkey.[3] and in Zangezur Mountains (including both Armenia and Nakhichivan sides),[4] which is inhabited by subspecies cinyraea Nekrutenko & Effendi, 1979.
