Polyptychus carteri is a moth of the Sphingidae family. It is known from lowland forests from Sierra Leone to the Congo and Uganda.[1]
The length of the forewings is 33–35 mm. The head and body are pale greyish brown with a dark median streak on the head and thorax. The forewings are pale greyish brown.
