Polytmus is a small genus of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family.
It contains the following three species to date:
- White-tailed goldenthroat (Polytmus guainumbi)
- Tepui goldenthroat (Polytmus milleri)
- Green-tailed goldenthroat (Polytmus theresiae)
