Poman Lo

Poman Lo (Chinese: 羅寶文) is the CEO and Founder of Century Innovative Technology Limited (CIT),[1] She is also the Vice Chairman of Century City International Holdings Limited and Regal Hotels International Holdings Limited and an Executive Director of Paliburg Holdings Limited and Managing Director of Regal Portfolio Management Limited.[2] Poman took over as vice chairperson and managing director of the Regal group’s 25 world-class hotels in Hong Kong and in the mainland in December 2013.[3] She is appointed to serve on as a Council Member of the City University of Hong Kong, Quality Education Fund and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Poman was named one of the Outstanding Young Persons of the World by Junior Chamber International in 2014.[4] In 2015, Poman is conferred the Business for Peace Award by the Oslo Business for Peace Foundation in Norway.[5]

Bodhi and Friends

Poman founded CIT to build Bodhi and Friends as a leading edutainment brand with a mission to enlighten minds via interactive games and multimedia. Following the airing of the award-winning 3D animated series Space Squad in February 2014 on CCTV and over 80 channels in China, Bodhi and Friends has developed a 3D mobile language learning program Bodhi Galaxy and a unique range of educational games and music videos to inspire multiple intelligences. BodhiWorld is a safe kid-friendly platform for parents and kids to access and share a professionally curated selection of digital content and product offerings.[6]

Poman wrote the lyrics for Love Paradise a popular Cantopop song performed by Kelly Cheng and Love and Shine, the theme song of Bodhi and Friends.[7]

Philanthropy

Poman Lo plays an active role in a number of established charities and associations. As the Chairperson of The Outstanding Young Persons’ Association, she unites forces to support various charitable projects to help the underprivileged. She also serves as a Committee member of UNICEF, Aiyou Huaxia Charity Foundation, Centum Charitas Foundation.[1]

Well known for her love for animals and care for the disadvantaged, she serves as an Ambassador of Oxfam HK, Doctor Pet, Hong Kong Guide Dog Association and Mental Health Foundation.[8]

Early life

She was awarded the “Hong Kong Outstanding Student” at 14, and thus, Poman is the first recipient to be also selected the Outstanding Young Person Award in Hong Kong. A child prodigy with diverse talents, Poman was awarded the Angier B. Duke Scholarship at 15 and graduated summa cum launde with a BA Psychology from Duke University at 19.[9]
