Poonjar Thekkekara is a village in Kottayam district in the state of Kerala, India.[1] This place is famous for rubber plantations and a key way to renowned hill-stations.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Poonjar Thekkekara had a population of 19710 with 9921 males and 9789 females.[1] Nowadays Poonjar South is the main city, which is the site of a college of engineering.
