Porkalathil Oru Poo is a film about based on the real life of Isaipriya a television journalist raped and murdered by the Sri Lankan army during the final stages of the Sri Lankan Civil War .It was refused clearance and banned by the Censor Board of India after it reviewed by its member S. Ve. Shekher on the grounds it would damage ties with Sri Lanka .The film makers have said they will legally challenge the ban.The music for the film is composed by Ilaiyaraaja.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] [10]
