The Portugal national futsal team represents Portugal in international futsal competitions such as the FIFA Futsal World Cup and the European Championships and is controlled by the Portuguese Football Federation. It is one of the strongest teams in Europe.
Portugal has played in five FIFA Futsal World Cups. Their best result was reaching third place in 2000 in Guatemala.[2] In the European Championships, they finished runners-up in 2010, their best performance of their eight participations.
