Prahlad Narhar Joshi

Prahlad Narhar Joshi (Devanagari: प्रह्लाद नरहर जोशी) (b. 1924) is a Marathi writer from Maharashtra, India.

Joshi was born on April 24, 1924 in the town of Kharshi in Satara District. He received his Ph.D. degree from Pune University.

Joshi started his professional career as a teacher at Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya in Pune, served as its head master for some years, and then moved on to assume a professor's position in the Marathi department of S.P. College, Pune.[1]
