Pratapa tyotaroi is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. Forewing length: 13–18 mm. It is endemic to the Philippines. On Mindanao Island it is distributed on Mt. Apo, Mt. Kitanglad and Mt. Masara. In Danielsen & Treadaway (2004) ssp. cadohaana is categorized into (Vulnerable) and ssp. ismaeli is categorized into (Lower Risk, Conservation Dependent). 4 subspecies are described as follows.
