Preston N. Jacobus (February 25, 1864 – November 28, 1911) was an American real estate developer, businessman, and politician. He served one term as Mayor of Tucson, Arizona Territory.[1] Jacobus was a member of the Republican Party.[2]

In an interview with journalist David Leighton, of the Arizona Daily Star newspaper, Donald A. Jacobus, grandson of Preston N. Jacobus, stated that the last name is pronounced Jay-KAH-bus. The surname is commonly mispronounced JAH-ko-bus. (see article below)
