Family

Prince Michael, along with his twin brother, Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, were born on 18 June 1958 and are the eldest sons of Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia and his wife, Princess Maria Pia of Savoy.[1] Alexander and Maria Pia had a second set of twins, Prince Sergius and Princess Helene of Yugoslavia, in 1963.[1] Prince Michael has a younger half-brother, Prince Dushan of Yugoslavia, from his father's second marriage to Princess Barbara of Liechtenstein.[1]

Career

Prince Michael relocated to Palm Beach, Florida, where he was a real estate broker selling condominiums for Sotheby's International Realty for 15 years.[2][3] In 1994, he was reportedly going into the vitamin business.[2]

Prince Michael joined Access International Advisors (AIA Group) investment fund, run by René-Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet. He was a active investment solicitor for people in Europe to invest in one of Bernard Madoff's feeder fund. These investors lost millions of dollars.
