Privy.net is a private social network and travel resource that targets a select group of transpacific executives and influential figures in the US and Asia,[1] founded by businessman and entrepreneur Stephen Liu who also established the Asian Professional Exchange.[2] The social network is compared to the exclusive celebrity site ASmallWorld.[3]

Privy produces a series of curated online "Privy 5" city guides, which are open to the public.[4] The current Privy 5 cities are Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Shanghai.[5] Notables featured in the Privy 5 guide include Jeremy Lin, Kelly Hu, Lisa Ling, John Cho, Daniel Wu, Jaeson Ma, Robin Shou, Vivienne Tam, Russell Wong, Joan Chen, Archie Kao, David Henry Hwang, Justin Chon, Liza Lapira, Lynn Chen and Aaron Yoo.[4][5][6]

Membership into Privy.net is restricted to being invited by a member who has invitation privileges.[2]

Privy Causes, the philanthropic art of Privy.net, created the The National Asian Breast Cancer Initiative in 2013.[7] It was formed to address the cultural, linguistic and genetic challenges that Asian women with breast cancer face.[8][9]
