Prix du livre politique

The Prix du livre politique (the price of the political book) is a French literary prize awarded to the best political book published in the year.

Organisation

The award was established by the association Read Society. It is awarded on the occasion of the Political Book Day, organized since 1991 by the association Read the company to the National Assembly. This award is in the amount of €5,000. It is awarded by a panel of 30 chief directors and editors of the political services of major national media, Julia Kristeva is the president. The price should help to promote reflection, discourse and political thought.[1]

Winners

Since 1995, 11 of 18 winners are journalists.
