Provincial Highway 74 (Chinese: 台74線) is an expressway around Taichung City, which starts at Kuaiguan IC. (快官交流道) of National Highway No. 3 in Changhua City and ends at Wufeng IC. (霧峰交流道) of National Highway No. 3 in Taichung City. It is commonly known as Taichung Ring Expressway (台中環線).
Length
Main line
The total length of main line is 39.235 km. The route between Kuaiguan IC. and Zhongqing Rd. was opened to public on May 5, 2002. Afterward, the east section between Songzhu Rd. and Wufeng IC. was opened to public on December 31, 2011. The route between Zhongqing Rd. and Chongde Rd. was opened to traffic on December 31,2013.
Branch Line
There is a branch line (Provincial Highway No. 74A, Chinese: 台74甲線) from the western end of Provincial Highway No. 74 (Kuaiguan IC.) to connect the Provincial Highway No. 1 in Huatan, Changhua. Its length is 10.5 km.

Intersections with other Freeways and Expressways
- National Highway No. 3 at Kuaiguan IC. in Changhua City and Wufeng IC. in Taichung City.
- There is no direct connection with National Highway No. 1. However, it is very close to Daya IC., Taichung IC., and Nantun IC. of National Highway No. 1. A short link just south of the Nantun IC. has been completed, but has not yet been opened. It will also provide direct access to the Taichung High Speed Rail Station.
- National Highway No. 4 on Juxing JCT.It will start its construction on 2014 and finish on 2017
Notes
The original plan has a western section between Changhua Coastal Industrial Park and Hemei IC. of National Highway No. 3 in Hemei, Changhua. The exact route has now been constructed and named as Provincial Highway No. 61B. It was opened to public on October 15, 2011.
