Przykopka [pʂɨˈkɔpka] (German: Przykopken (1938-45:Birkenwalde)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ełk, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Ełk and 127 km (79 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
