Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust

The Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust (PR-STRT) —Spanish: Fideicomiso para las Ciencias, Tecnologías e Investigación de Puerto Rico— is a government-owned trust company that promotes the financing of research, development, and infrastructure projects in the fields of science and technology in Puerto Rico. The trust serves as the channel for funds guarded by the Puerto Rico Government Development Bank for science, technology, and research known as the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust Fund (Spanish: Fondo del Fideicomiso para las Ciencias, Tecnologías e Investigación de Puerto Rico). Both the trust and the fund were created by Act No. 217 of 2004.[1]
