Puffin Fresh Donuts
Puffin Fresh Donuts is a doughnut franchise which first opened in Perth, Western Australia in 1985.[1] Founders of the Australian franchise Jim Pearson and David Meeres decided to start the Puffin Fresh Donut franchise when White Wings contacted them and said the company was sending someone over to Australia from the US to show them how to make the iconic donuts. In 1986 at its peak 13 stores operated throughout Perth, but today only three of the stores remain in Joondalup, Belmont and Armadale. Puffin Fresh Donuts produce more than 70 different varieties of donuts everyday.
