The pulmonary artery, which carries blood rich in [[carbon dioxide]] [[{CO2}]].The pulmonary arteries, which carry blood from the heart to the lungs, are the only arteries which carry deoxygenated blood. Conversely, the pulmonary veins, carrying blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart, are the only veins carrying oxygenated blood. There are two other veins called the superior vena cava and the inferior vena cava, which blood goes into the heart. The superior vena cava get blood from upper half of the body and is at the top of the heart . The inferior vena cava gets blood from the lower half of the body and is on the bottom of the heart. Both of the vena cava's are rich in Carbon dioxide blood.
