Pumaqucha (Quechua puma cougar, puma, qucha lake,[1] hispanicized spelling Pumacocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Junín Region, Jauja Province, Apata District.[2][3] It lies north-west of the mountain Wamanripayuq (Huamanripayoc) of the Comas District.
