Pune District Education Association, Pune is one of the largest institution providing education at school & college level in Pune district. This institute has a large number of schools and colleges establishments under its umbrella. PDEA is the administrative authority for all the institutions under its banner. PDEA all schools are affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education ,Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education and colleges to Pune University. The association was founded by Baburaoji Gholap and Annasaheb Aawate.
History
Pune District Education Association, Pune founded on 7 September 1941. It was founded by educationist Reverend Baburaoji Gholap, Annasaheb Aawate and their colleagues. Eventually PDEA spread their wings through Pune district. The institute abide to their mission to provide highly recognized Knowledge center of learning resources for primary to post graduation education. The institute stick to their purpose and firm belief in up-lifting literacy in socio-economically weaker sections of the society. [2]
