Purple teal and green ribbon
The Purple teal and green ribbon, like similar awareness ribbons, is worn or displayed to support those who suffer with Medullary sponge kidney and to raise awareness of the disease.[1]
- The three colours represent aspects of the rare disorder.
- Purple represents the disease's rarity;
- Teal represents the misunderstood nature of the disease and the chronic pain it causes in rare cases;
- Green represents chronic kidney disease.
