Pyrford Football Club was an English amateur football club based in Pyrford, near Woking, Surrey. The clubs nicknames were The P's or the Pears.[1] They started the 2013–14 season playing in the Surrey County Intermediate League (Western) Division One but withdrew from the league midway through the season in January 2014 and have presumably folded.

History

The club was among the founder members of the Surrey Premier League in 1982, but dropped out after the second season in the league at the end of the 1983–84 campaign, during which time they only won two league games in both seasons.[2] At the end of the 2006–07 season the club was relegated from the Premier Division of the Surrey County Intermediate League (Western).[3] They then managed to gain promotion back to the Premier Division at the end of the 2009–10 campaign, but could only manage one season in the top flight before being relegated back down to Division one.[4][5] The club did experience some cup success in this period, when they reached the League Cup final in the 2009–10 season.[6]

Ground

Pyrford play their home games at Pyrford Cricket Ground, Coldharbour Road, Pyrford, Surrey, GU22 8ST.
