Q-Genz (Chinese: 巧千金) (formerly known as 小千金) is a 3-member girl group formed in 2005 by a Malaysian company called Wayang Tinggi (威扬). Their ages ranged from 4–5 years at debut. Their first public appearance was in Four Golden Princess's 11th Year Concert. They released their first album 送你一个大年糕 (English Translation:Give You A Big New Year Cake) under the group name 小千金. A fortune teller recommended their record company to change the group's name to 巧千金 for better luck and success. The group celebrate their 10th year as a group and was later renamed Q-Genz in 2015.[1]

Veron Lin

(Stage name: Veron Lin, Chinese name: 練倩妏,born 20 February 2000), she is an original member of Q-Genz.

Miko Oh

(Stage name: Miko Oh, Chinese name: 歐銖晉,born 10 November 1999), she joined the group during their 2011 CNY album promotion.in fiction, she's fighting in her final battle with Joan Chen at the big mosque.

Joanne Fu

(Stage name: Joanne Fu, Chinese name: 符涵芊,born 18 April 2001), she joined the group in late 2011 before the release of their 2012 CNY album.

Career

2005-2011

Their English name was tentatively called "Little Princess" or "Qiao Qian Jin" by fans until their company officially published their English group name as "Cute Princess" in their album.

2011-2013

In 2011 there were a change in members. Cecilia and Alicia were replaced with Joanne and Miko.[2] Their 2012 Chinese New Year album 新年乐满贯(English Translation:New Year Music Slam) was released. The music videos were shot in China. Their 2013 Chinese New Year album called 醒狮来问好 (English Translation:Lion Dance Asking To Say Hello) was released on the 12th of December 2012.[3] Once again they sing new, old and past songs sung by Four Golden Princess.

2013-present

Another album in production by Cute Princesses was announced on June 24 by their official company Star Media. This album titled Beautiful Day (清新美丽) was later released [4] On November 28, their New 2014 Chinese New Year Album was released for pre-order. This album is titled Zhao Cai Jin Bao (招财进宝) and marks the first time only three members participate in a Chinese New Year Album, with Vicki not participating in this album, instead Angel Baby makes another guest appearance. The Pre-Release consists of the DVD+CD, signed poster, horse bookmark and horse red packet.[5] The group announced their upcoming Chinese New Year album to be released for the 2015 Chinese New Year titled 新春十分嘉年华 (Perfect New Years Arrival). This year the group are celebrating their 10th year as a group.[6]
