HD 88955 is a star in the constellation Vela. This is a white A-type main sequence star with an apparent magnitude of +3.85. It is approximately 103 light years from Earth. This star has 1.8 times the Sun's radius and 2.2 times the mass of the Sun.[1] It is radiating 22 times the Sun's luminosity from its outer atmosphere at an effective temperature of 9,460 K.[1]
