Qaḍīb al-Bān
Qaḍīb al-Bān (471-573 AH/1079-1177 AD; قضيب البان) is best remembered as a mystic of Mosul, teacher of ‘Alī ibn ‘Abdallāh ibn Jāmi’, a friend of ibn Arabi. Testament to Qaḍīb al-Bān's life exists in a manuscript at the University of Baghdad (no. 541).
