Qantas Defence Services

Qantas Defence Services is a defense service company that was formerly a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas Airways. In August 2013, QDS was sold to Northrop Grumman for A$80m.[1]

The subsidiary had been providing maintenance for Hercules aircraft, as well as work on the RAAF A330 MRTTs or Multi Role Tanker transports and also maintained both Prime Ministerial Boeing BBJs.[2]

Qantas is providing increasing support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF):
