Qi Prefecture (Liaoning)
Qizhou or Qi Prefecture (祺州) was a zhou (prefecture) of the Khitan-ruled Liao dynasty (907–1125) centering on modern Kangping County, Liaoning, China. Initially it was briefly called Tanzhou (檀州) or Tan Prefecture (檀州) after Tanzhou where the Khitans would periodically raid to capture Chinese slaves to relocate to "their" Tanzhou.
