Quadrula metanevra, common name the Monkeyface, is a species of freshwater mussel, an aquatic bivalve mollusk in the family Unionidae, the river mussels.

Quadrula metanevra is found in the Southeastern United States. It is critically endangered, and listed as near extinct on the IUCN Red List
