Régis Schleicher

Régis Schleicher (born 31 May 1957)[1] is a former member of Action directe.

Arrest and Imprisonment

Twice sentenced to life in prison for his participation in the deaths of two police officers during the shooting at Trudaine Avenue in Paris on 31 May 1983[2] and in multiple robberies.[3]

Release

In July 2009, after 25 years in prison, he was granted a status of "semi-liberty", able to leave prison for extended periods;[4] on 26 May 2010, he was granted full freedom.[5]

Personal life

He was married to Joëlle Aubron, whom he later divorced.
