R518 road (South Africa)
The R518 is a Regional Route in South Africa. Its western terminus is an intersection with the R510 at Lephalale (Ellisras). It wends it way to Mokopane (Potgietersrus) to the south-east. The R561 leaves the road mid-way, at the village of Marken heading north. Just before the town of Mokopane, the R518 meets with the N11 and becomes co-signed with it. After crossing the N1, the road is again only the R518, and initially continues south-east, but then changes to an easterly direction. It runs through the town of Zebediela. After that, it crosses the R519 and then enters Lebowakgomo where it meets with the R579 at a staggered junction. The road ends shortly after leaving the town, at a junction with the R37.
