R. J. Harris (born in Reading, Pennsylvania) is an Operations Manager and host for a morning radio program for WHP-AM (580 AM) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,[1] which he presents with Dan Steele from 5 to 9 am every weekday morning.

He has previously been: Morning Host WYNY, NBC, New York, Morning Host WAPP (The Apple), New York.[2] Morning Personality WLUP (The Loop), Chicago. Morning Host KXOA-FM (K108), Sacramento. Program Director WYSP, Philadelphia. Program Director WLPX/WISN, Milwaukee. Program Director WLAC/WKQB, Nashville. Program Director WRHY (Starview 92) Harrisburg/Lancaster/York. Program Director WCMB/WSFM (Rock 99), Harrisburg. Overnight DJ WPEN, Philadelphia. Also: WIOO, Carlisle PA. ; WAHT, Lebanon, PA. Started at WRAW, Reading, PA at age 14.

WHP 580 is most often Arbitron rated number one in its market, but also one of the highest rated talk stations in the U.S.A. Harris and his team normally enjoy the number one position in the morning by a comfortable margin.
