Raúl Benjamin Hirales Cuevas (born January 25, 1984 in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico) is Mexican professional boxer in the Super Bantamweight division.[1]
Professional career
On January 28, 2011 Hirales beat the veteran Charles Huerta at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in San Diego, California. The bout was televised by Telefutura.[2]
In his next fight on May 26, 2012, Hirales traveled to Nottingham, UK, to face fellow unbeaten fighter, Carl Frampton for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental Super Bantamweight Title on the undercard of Carl Froch vs. Lucian Bute. He lost the bout by unanimous decision.
